Even worse, sometimes you’ll see “designed in the U.S.A.” in the product descriptions of gun parts that are entirely made in China or elsewhere. Designed here…but manufactured halfway around the world with no oversight.
At Dogtooth Tactical, we do American manufacturing the right way, no gimmicks or strings attached. Our 50-round AR-15 magazines are 100% manufactured in-house, right here in Russells Point, Ohio.

Every Dogtooth magazine body begins life in our facility on state-of-the-art electric injection molding machines. We use high-precision automated systems equipped with robotic part removal, delivering consistent, repeatable precision at every cycle.
Our electric injection molding setup reliably delivers tighter tolerances, faster cycle times, and cleaner results than traditional hydraulic equipment, and that precision shows up in the finished product. If you want your magazine to feed flawlessly round after round, it needs to be made from precision molds that hold exceptionally tight tolerances and repeatability.

In-House UV Printing: Custom Designs That Hold Up
For any magazine leaving our shop with a custom design or patriotic graphic, the printing happens right here, too. We use a high-end UV printing system and a proprietary bonding process that adheres the custom ink directly to the magazine body.
Our custom designs aren’t stickers or flimsy vinyl sleeves. They’re from a durable, professional-grade print that’s built to handle heat, friction, and field use without fading or peeling. Down the road, as wear does inevitably set in over time, our quality prints start to take on a nice patina rather than peeling off like cheap decals.
Assembled and Inspected by Hand
Once the components come off our machines, real human hands take over. Every single 50-round magazine is hand assembled and individually inspected for function before it ever gets packed into a box. That means checking the spring, the follower, the feed lips, and the overall assembly: every critical part, every time, on every unit.
There’s no batch-passing here at Dogtooth Tactical. If a magazine doesn’t meet our standards, it doesn’t ship. Period.
Made in the U.S.A. – Built to the Highest Standards
When Dogtooth Tactical says our magazines are made in the USA, we mean it without any asterisks attached. No overseas-molded bodies finished stateside. No imported internals dressed up in American packaging. The polymer is molded here, the graphics are printed here, the stainless steel springs are made in Ohio, and assembly / inspection happens before any product leaves the door.
As a veteran-owned business, we take just as much pride in reliable firearm performance as we do in quality manufacturing. Those standards live in every magazine that ships out of our Logan County facility.
